Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and the story behind your Facebook page?
I share my passion for Greece through photography, videos and storytelling.
Everything I share is an invitation to discover the authentic beauty, culture and spirit of this extraordinary country through my eyes and heart.
A big part of my life is spent in Greece, exploring it deeply and experiencing it in a personal way.
What Inspired you to start showcasing Greece with photography and storytelling?
Although my Andekora Greece Facebook Page was launched in January 2026, my journey actually began in the summer of 2025.
I started creating videos and sharing moments from Greece across social media because of my deep love for Greece.
I wanted to express what this country means to me while helping others experience the same emotions that Greece inspires in me.
One of the greatest joys of this journey has been discovering how many people around the world share the same love for Greece.
As more people discovered my content, they began sharing their own memories, dreams and love for Greece.
Seeing that connection was incredibly moving and inspired me to keep creating.
Did you ever imagine it would grow into the community it is today?
Seeing my community grow into what it is today has been both a joy and a pleasant surprise.
It has expanded far beyond a single social media page.
Now bringing together people across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube – united by a shared love for Greece.
My goal has always been to show the Greece that captured my heart. From its breathtaking landscapes to its traditions, music, people, flavours and everyday moments.
I hope people experience Greece as a feeling they can carry with them wherever they are in the world.
Was there a particular moment or place in Greece that made you realise you wanted to share it’s beauty with the world?
My inspiration comes from the way Greece makes me feel.
The beauty.
Culture.
Music.
People.
Including the atmosphere.
It touched my heart in such a profound way that sharing those emotions with the world became something I truly wanted to do.

What does Greece mean to you personally?
Greece is much more than a place to me.
It is a beautiful feeling, a source of inspiration, peace and joy.
It is part of my soul and where I feel most connected to life, to people and to the beauty of everyday moments.
Sharing everything I love about Greece through social media is my way of giving something back to a country that has given me so much.
Where do you find inspiration for the features and stories you share?
I find inspiration in the authentic moments that make Greece so special.
It can be a quiet street, a traditional taverna or the sound of Greek music.
The cities, a local celebration, the warmth of the people, a conversation with someone or a breathtaking view that tells a story on its own.
I love sharing the places, traditions and everyday moments that reveal the true spirit of Greece.
How do you decide which locations, traditions or hidden gems to feature?
I always ask myself one question before sharing something: “Does this capture the true spirit of Greece as I feel it?“.
If the answer is yes, then I know I must share it.
Whether it is a city, a village, a beautiful beach, a traditional celebration or a hidden Greek family taverna.
I choose places and moments that allow people to experience Greece through my eyes and the way I feel it.
The Creative Process for Your Facebook Page.
What goes into creating a typical post?
Every post I create and share begins with a feeling.
Sometimes it starts with a place that inspires me. Other times it is a special moment, a tradition or a piece of music.
I then choose the images or videos that best tell that story. I edit them carefully and write a caption that reflects what I felt in that moment.
My goal is always to create something that helps people feel Greece, not just see it.
Do you take all the photographs and videos yourself or do you work with others?
I take all the photographs and videos myself but sometimes when I appear in a photo or video, my family or friends are behind the camera.
Following my directions to capture the moment exactly as I envision it.
They know that what starts as a simple photo or video session usually turns into a lot of cheerful directions from me – and we always end up laughing together.
If so, what’s your approach to capturing the perfect image?
For me, the perfect image is one that feels authentic.
The most beautiful images are often the ones that capture genuine moments, natural light and the atmosphere of a place.
I want every photo or video I share to make people feel as if they are there with me.

Which season do you think reveals Greece at its most beautiful and why?
I personally love Greece in every season.
Each one reveals a different side of the country, and that is part of its magic.
Spring brings colour and fresh energy.
Summer fills the beaches, islands and seaside tavernas with visitors, laughter and life.
Autumn offers peaceful landscapes, and I especially love to be in Athens at that time of year.
The city feels calmer, the weather is perfect for long walks. I always enjoy wandering through its streets at a slower pace.
Winter reveals a quieter, more authentic Greece.
I especially love the Greek sea in every season. I can spend hours simply watching it and feeling its beauty.
In addition, I love spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Greece. When the festive atmosphere, beautiful traditions and joyful celebrations create unforgettable memories.
Memorable Experiences – Andekora Greece Interview
Is there a location in Greece that completely surprised you – in a good way?
I think Athens surprised me the most.
While the Acropolis is undeniably breathtaking, it was Lycabettus Hill that truly exceeded my expectations.
Before I visited, I expected beautiful views, but I didn’t expect the feeling of standing above a city with such a long history while watching everyday life continue below.
It is one of those places where ancient heritage and modern Greece exist side by side – in a completely natural way.
One of my favourite experiences is enjoying dinner on Lycabettus Hill while watching the sunset over Athens.
As daylight slowly fades and the city lights begin to sparkle, the panoramic view becomes even more magical.
Combined with delicious Greek cuisine and the peaceful atmosphere, it creates an unforgettable evening.
Every time I return, I discover something new. It reminds me that even the most famous places can still surprise you.
What’s the most unforgettable experience you’ve had while exploring the country?
Without a doubt, boating.
Every time I step onto a boat in Greece, it feels like a new adventure. Reaching hidden beaches that are accessible only by boat.
Swimming in crystal-clear waters, seeing the coastline from the sea and feeling the fresh sea breeze create a sense of freedom that is difficult to describe.
Greece reveals a completely different kind of beauty when you experience it from the water.
Some of its most spectacular places can only be reached by boat, making every journey feel like discovering a hidden paradise.
It never feels the same twice, and that is exactly what makes every boating experience unforgettable.
Have you met any local people whose stories have stayed with you?
Absolutely!
Over the years, I have met many wonderful people whose kindness and generosity have left a lasting impression on me.
What they all seem to share is “filotimo”. A uniquely Greek value that reflects generosity, dignity, respect and genuine care for others.
It is not something you simply hear about… you truly experience it in everyday moments, whether through a warm conversation, a thoughtful gesture or the way people welcome you.
Those encounters have become some of my most treasured memories of Greece.
They are a beautiful reminder that the true heart of Greece is found not only in its breathtaking landscapes, but above all in its people.

What kind of messages from your followers have meant the most to you?
The messages that touch me the most are from people who tell me they can actually feel Greece through my videos and photos.
Some say my content brings back beautiful memories. Others tell me it inspired them to finally book their first trip to Greece.
Knowing that I can help someone reconnect with a place they love or discover it for the very first time is incredibly meaningful to me.
Have you inspired people to visit places they might never have considered?
Yes, and that is one of the greatest compliments I could receive.
Many people have told me they added new places to their travel plans after discovering them through my content.
Some have even shared photos from the very locations they first saw on my page.
Moments like these remind me that every video and every story has the power to inspire someone to experience Greece in a new way.
What do you hope people feel when they scroll through your page?
I hope they feel the beauty, warmth and authenticity of Greece the way I do.
I want every photo and every video I share to offer a little escape from everyday life and to bring a sense of joy, peace and inspiration.
If someone finishes watching my content with a smile and an even greater desire to experience Greece with their own heart, then I feel I have achieved my goal.
Hidden Greece – Your Recommendations by Andekora Greece.
Which lesser-known destinations would you recommend to someone visiting Greece for the first time?
Many people would probably expect me to recommend the famous Greek islands, and they are absolutely wonderful.
If I could encourage international travellers to discover one place beyond the classic choices, it would definitely be the stunning Sithonia on the Halkidiki Peninsula.
I especially recommend Vourvourou and the nearby Diaporos Island. Turquoise waters, hidden beaches accessible only by boat and breathtaking natural scenery create an unforgettable experience.
I would also recommend Meteora, one of the most extraordinary places in Greece.
Seeing the centuries-old monasteries standing high on towering rock formations creates the feeling that the earth truly touches the sky.
It is a place unlike any other, filled with history, serenity and breathtaking beauty.
One of my biggest wishes is to see more people from around the world discover the beauty of Sithonia.
Through the photos and videos I share, I hope to inspire more and more travellers to explore places beyond Greece’s best-known destinations.
I truly believe Sithonia is one of Greece’s greatest treasures and deserves to be discovered by travellers from all around the world.
What Greek tradition or cultural experience do you think deserves more international recognition?
I believe “filotimo” deserves far greater international recognition.
It is much more than a Greek word…it’s a way of life that reflects the values of kindness, generosity, respect, dignity and genuine care for others that are deeply rooted in Greek culture.
I also believe that traditional Greek music and dance deserve to be experienced by more people around the world.
They bring generations together and express the joy, warmth and spirit of Greece in a truly unique way.
Challenges & Success For Your Facebook Page.
What has been the biggest challenge in maintaining your page?
The biggest challenge has been choosing the moments that best tell the many stories of Greece.
Every place has so much beauty.
I always try to capture it in a way that genuinely reflects the atmosphere and emotions I experience, allowing others to feel them too.
I always want every photo and video I share to genuinely reflect the beauty, authenticity and emotions I experience in Greece.
It takes time, patience and attention to detail, and I enjoy every part of this creative process.
Creating has always been part of who I am.
My family often jokes that they are happy my creativity is focused on sharing the Greece I love, because otherwise I would probably be constantly redecorating our home.
What achievement are you most proud of since you began this journey?
I feel that the achievement I am most proud of is building a community of people from all over the world who share the same love for Greece.
Knowing that my photos and videos inspire people to visit new places, return to Greece or simply smile while watching my content means far more to me than any number.
Every message from someone who says they felt the beauty of Greece through my work reminds me why I started this journey.
Looking Ahead
Are there any projects or collaborations you’re excited about?
Yes, I’m excited about what the future holds.
I’m currently working on my first novel, a contemporary romance set between Italy and Greece.
It is a story about love, destiny and the unexpected moments that can change a life forever. It is a project that is very close to my heart.
Writing it has become a wonderful creative journey, allowing me to explore emotions, relationships and the choices that shape our lives.
I hope that, when the time comes, readers will connect with the story and its characters as deeply as I have while writing it.
As for collaborations, my main focus right now is continuing to share the beauty of Greece in the most authentic way I can.
Everything I have shared about Greece on social media so far has come simply from my own passion and love for the country.
When opportunities come along, I would be happy to work with people and brands that genuinely share the same values and appreciation for Greece.
For me, the most rewarding collaborations are the ones that feel authentic and create something inspiring for people around the world.
Is there a region of Greece you’re still eager to explore?
There are still many places in Greece I would love to explore, although I never think of the country as a list of destinations to complete.
I also love returning to the regions that already feel like home to me, because every visit reveals something new.
That is one of the reasons Greece continues to inspire me.
How do you see your page evolving over the next few years?
My wish is for my page to continue growing naturally while staying true to what has always inspired me: sharing Greece as I feel it.
I want to continue inspiring people around the world to discover not only its remarkable places, but also its culture, traditions, everyday life and the emotions that make Greece so special to me.
If you had to describe Greece in just three words, what would they be?
“Beauty. Soul. Home.”
These three words say everything I feel whenever I think of Greece.

“The magic of Greece is… the beautiful way it becomes part of your soul forever.”
What advice would you give someone who wants to start their own page for sharing their own passion for travel, a specific location and photography?
I think my advice would be to share what you genuinely love.
People connect with authenticity, passion and stories that come from the heart, rather than content created to follow numbers or trends.
Focus on creating something that truly reflects who you are, and enjoy every step of the journey. If you do that, the right people will naturally find your page and appreciate what you share.
If you could invite our readers to experience just one sunrise and one sunset in Greece, where would you send them—and why?
That is a very difficult choice because, to me, Greece has some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the world.
Whether you’re on an island, in Athens, in Thessaloniki or simply by the sea, each one has its own magic.
But if I had to choose, I would recommend watching a sunrise from a boat on the Greek sea, where the endless blue meets the first light of the day.
For sunset, I would choose the waterfront of Thessaloniki, where the sun slowly disappears over the Thermaic Gulf, the city begins to glow with evening life, and you can truly feel the unique atmosphere that makes Thessaloniki so charming.
What do you hope people discover about Greece – beyond its famous islands and beaches?
I hope people discover the soul of Greece and experience this beautiful country in a deeper, more meaningful way than simply visiting it.
Beyond its famous islands and beaches, Greece is a country full of history, culture, traditions and everyday beauty.
Its soul is found in the kindness of the Greek people, the rhythm of daily life, the local tavernas, the music, the conversations and the simple, unplanned moments.
Those are the experiences that stay with you long after the journey ends.
